

1 lb ground beef

1 lb ground lamb

1 large onion, grated and squeezed dry

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/3 cup whole milk Greek yogurt

3 tsp cumin

2 1/2 tsp coriander

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup cucumber, diced

1/4 cup parsley, chopped

1/2 tsp dill

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 tsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp dill

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 small garlic clove, grated
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl, combine the beef, lamb, onion, garlic, yogurt, and spices. Mix aggressively for 3–4 minutes until it turns into a paste.
Place on a sheet pan and bake for 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
While the meat bakes, make your salad and tzatziki. Mix all ingredients for each and let sit until ready to use.
Let the meat cool slightly, then slice thin. Spread on a sheet pan and broil for 3–5 minutes until browned and crispy.
Serve in warm pita or naan with salad and tzatziki, and top with feta cheese if using
