1 cup warm water 110 degrees F

1 packed active dry yeast (7 g)

2 tbs sugar

3 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup neutral oil (I use avocado oil)
1 egg
400 for 10 - 15 min
Mix warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes until a thin layer of foam forms.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, oil, egg, and the yeast mixture.
Knead the dough with a dough hook for about 10 minutes, then knead by hand for a couple of minutes until smooth.
Cut the dough into eight equal parts and roll them into balls.
Place the dough balls on a greased baking sheet and flatten them slightly.
Cover the dough balls and let them rest for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, brush the dough balls with an egg wash and add sesame seeds to half of them.
Bake in the oven at 400 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
