1 lb ground turkey

1 yellow onion

4 cloves garlic

1 bell pepper

2 jalapeños

2 tbsp tomato paste

28 oz can crushed tomatoes

1 can white kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup chicken broth

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper

1/2 tsp cayenne
Add oil to a hot pan along with the onion and ground turkey.
Cook the meat until it's halfway done, then add the garlic and finish cooking.
Transfer the turkey mixture into the crock pot.
Dice one bell pepper and add it to the crock pot along with two jalapeños (remove seeds if you prefer less spice).
Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and a 28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes.
Add one can of white kidney beans and one can of red kidney beans (drained and rinsed).
Blend half of the beans if desired, then add them back to the crock pot.
Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth to help with thickness.
Add the seasonings: chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Give everything a quick mix and let it cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
