


1 head iceberg chopped

1 c Swiss cheese or Gruyère cut into cubes

8 oz fresh or frozen peas

3 scallions chopped

1/2 lb bacon cooked and chopped

1/2 c mayonnaise

1/2 c miracle whip cream

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt and pepper
Prepare all the ingredients ahead of time.
Chop the iceberg lettuce and place it in a large bowl.
Cut the Swiss cheese or Gruyère into cubes and add to the bowl.
If using frozen peas, thaw them; if using fresh peas, rinse them and add to the bowl.
Chop the scallions and add them to the mixture.
Cook the bacon until crispy, chop it, and add it to the bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, miracle whip, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and mix well.
Let the salad sit for about 20 minutes before serving.
